Corporate History
Since our inception in 1999, ATX has experienced rapid growth focused on broadband cable products and equipment driven by the introduction of innovative new products and equipment and a broadening product portfolio achieved through a series of acquisitions.
- 1996 – acquired 50% of PCI Technologies (Ajax, ON) formerly Pitt Communications
- 1999 – founded ATX Incorporated (Ajax, ON) formerly ATX Telecom Inc.
- 2000 – acquired B&L Coaxial Connections (Toronto, ON)
- 2000 – acquired balance of PCI (Ajax, ON)
- 2001 – acquired Quality RF Services (Jupiter, FL)
- 2001 – acquired PROTEX Weatherproofing (Jackson, MS)
- 2004 – acquired GlobalTek Services & GlobalTek Technologies (Atlanta, GA). Renamed ATX Services & Pacific Engineering
- 2004 – acquired Novanet Communications (Ajax, ON)
- 2004 – Established three distinct business groups
- 2005 – acquired MSC Electronics (Markham, ON)
- 2006 – acquired LARCAN (Mississauga, ON)
- 2007 – sold B&L Coaxial Connections and PROTEX Weatherproofing
