POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Business Development Engineer, the Applications & Technical Product Specialist will provide technical support to internal and external customers through the following duties:

• Provide technical support to Sales and Engineering Teams for proposal generation
• Provide technical product support to customers via telephone, e-mail or in person on ATX product line
• Equipment specific system design
• Generating bill of materials and quotes related to design projects
• Prepare new product presentations and training seminars for Inside and Outside Sales Teams
• Monitor and report on industry trends
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum of 2 years RF and Optical System Design experience is required
• Diploma or Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Technology including RF and optical communication systems
• CATV background would be an asset
• Superior Communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills capable of interacting with all levels of associates both internal and external to the organization
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills

This position may require some travel (2-3 trips per year) both domestic and international. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid passport.
